Our Expert Approach
At Riverbend Energetics, safety and quality are foundational principles that guide our manufacturing philosophy, engineering processes, and customer relationships. As a long-standing supplier of small energetic devices to critical Department of Defense programs, we are committed to delivering products that meet the highest standards of reliability, precision, and operational safety.
Riverbend Energetics operates under an ISO 9001:2015-certified quality management system, as certified by Perry Johnson Registrars, Inc. This certification is more than a formal designation – it reflects our disciplined adherence to rigorous documentation practices, robust process controls, and a culture of continuous improvement. Every step in our manufacturing process is documented through controlled travelers and process sheets, with serialized traceability extending from raw materials to final acceptance. First Article Inspections (FAI), in-process checks, and Lot Acceptance Testing (LAT) are all integrated into our workflows and stored securely to support full lifecycle accountability.
Our approach to safety is rooted in an understanding of the inherent risks of working with energetic materials and a deep responsibility to the end users who rely on our components in combat, emergency, and aerospace environments. All production activities are governed by formal Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) tailored to specific energetics handling tasks. Personnel undergo continuous training and recertification in accordance with internal safety protocols and relevant regulatory frameworks. Engineering controls are employed throughout the facility to mitigate risk, while personal protective equipment and environmental safeguards are implemented to maintain a safe and compliant workplace.
