These small cartridges generate gas pressure to eject flares, chaff, or other decoys from aircraft dispensers. In addition to egress and countermeasure roles, Riverbend’s CAD/PAD devices support various stores release and actuation functions on both air and ground platforms. We manufacture explosive bolts and nuts that secure ordnance or equipment until commanded to release. We also produce gas generators and propellant-driven actuators that provide a push or pressure source for one-time mechanical motions.
