Our in-house automation capabilities allow us to maintain strict process control from initial setup to final device assembly. We design, build, and maintain custom automated systems tailored to the specific geometries and sensitivities of each product family. These systems allow us to:
- Control material metering and pellet pressing to exact densities and dimensions
- Load pyrotechnic or explosive columns with precise burn length and column height
- Assemble mechanical and energetic subcomponents with minimal human interactions
- Each machine and tool is configured with flexible fixtures, allowing rapid retooling between programs or part numbers and flexibility in scaling output from small prototype batches to large production lots. This allows us the flexibility to run multiple parts and programs on a single machine for increased utilization and surge capacity.
